Launch: ‘Mi’kmaq Legends: The Creation’ Workshop

Composer Sean Ferris and The Mi’kmaq Legends Orchestra featuring the Alan Dowling Jazz Quartet, members of the Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra and Mi’kmaq Thunder, a traditional Mi’kmaq Drum Group, work-shopped “The Creation”, the opening segment of a larger work entitled Mi'kmaq Legends which is a multi-media theatrical experience that combines music, poetry, dance, visual arts and theatre. The workshop was followed by a Mi'kamq Legends Orchestra concert.
