The Arts Linkages program is a new artistic outreach component of the ECMA whereby a committee establishes cultural and artistic programming within the host city, in this case Charlottetown, to bring both awareness to the breadth of various artistic disciplines within the city as well as provide high profile opportunities for artist’s works to be recognized.
The display and integration of these activities and events is for the benefit of all 1,700 + delegates as well as the general public and also shows the support of and linkage to other disciplines of the arts.

Presented with the theme: Birthplace of the Beat the students are creating 55 centrepiece sculptures for the Industry Awards Brunch during the ECMA Conference. All 55 sculptures will be unique and created by the students. This project is aimed to welcome the students into the arts community by providing them the opportunity to present their work to a professional community and participate in a regional event with national exposure. This program also includes a workshop presented by a local artist. The workshop provided the students with access to professional skill sets and mentorship.
